For households that are tax resident in France, it entitles you to a tax credit of 50% of the amounts paid, up to €5,000 of expenses per year and per household, i.e. up to €2,500 of tax credit. The benefit applies to your main home as well as a second home. Thanks to the URSSAF immediate advance scheme, you may only need to pay 50% of the invoice at the time of payment.
